Hello Everyone,
To get the product of two the same number.
Example:
12 x 12 = 144
To get et easily,
Multiply the first number (1x1) = 1
And then the last digit (2x2) = 4
And then to get the mid number simply like this (1x2) + (1x2) = 4
you will get an answer of 144...
try this one 26x26 ? =

Hi Maria
Why not try this alternative way using easy square numbers....
26 x 26
This is 4 away from 30 so...... add and subtract 4 to 26 to get 22 x 30 = 660
Then add on your 4 squared = 660 + 16 = 676
eg 13 x 13 = (10 x 16) + (3 x 3) = 169
Neat eh? - hope this of use.
I think, therefore I am.
