Can you prove the Value of Pi
To illustrate that 4 > π, circumscribe a square around a circle of diameter 1 and compare perimeters. Note that that has nothing to do with the induction part of the proof.
But I apologize to the other members of the forum. It would appear that I have prolonged a thread that is better left closed, so I'll stop here.

If you Believe 4 > π then you must also Believe 1 > Infinite/Recurring 0.9
Because Both are Infinite/Recurring! π being an Infinite/Recurring Number! Random in Appearance!.........................................................................................................

No, you're not listening, I didn't say that. I said non-recurrance does not imply finite (rational). For example, Pi is non-recurring, yet it is irrational, therefore the implication is false.

Sorry, that proof fails. I prefer my pie with raspberries in it. And chocolate cream pies are pretty good on occasion too. Neither of those contains any meat or vegetables. ;-)
