Minus nine.

but minus isnt the same thing as negative...

Numbers below 0 are negatives, they are not minuses. The phrase "minus number" is incorrect and the correct term is "negative number". Those who fail to grasp this extremely simple mathmatical premise should hang up their calculators.
Boy let me tell you what:
I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player too.
And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.

but what if my calc doesnt have a part taht hangs???
also, evern if minus nine was correct, it has 9 characters not negative nine charaters.

Technically it has 10 characters, if we're counting the space. Certainly not -9 though.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Negative fifteen? I know it doesn't really count, but still ... ?
Also, negative seventeen.

but it has 15 letters, not -15 letters!

How about 'the absolute value of negative thirty-seven'? Ridiculous!
Offline
i dont think taht that counts as a number
its more like an expression rather than a number
Offline
