Hello everyone
Are there any chefs among you?
I know this is a rather odd question, but is there a name given to the process where salt turns yeast into a liquid during bread making?
Thanks

i'm not sure! When I make pizza dough, I have to place the yeast in a few table spoons of warm water until it becomes a sort of, smooth paste, then I add it to the mixture. I'm not sure what that salt business is about though.
A logarithm is just a misspelled algorithm.
