thats got a nice ring to it, Ricky! But isn't computer science more than just lines of code?
Computer science is comprised of so many different things, you aren't going to find a name that describes them all. Algorithm analysis, theory of computation, AI, system design, sever client relationships, integrated networks, HCI, database programming, etc etc. That is of course, other than computer science.
I'll see if I can think of some alternate, more encompassing names though.

then maybe we should just call it Computer Science?

But when I am programming a jigsaw game, the term "Computer Science" doesn't seem quite right ... "Coding" is what I am doing.
But ... algorithms/design does seem to be a bit outside the "coding" sphere ... is thinking how to approach a tricky problem "coding"?

Well if you feel programming a jigsaw does not qualify as "computer science" (which i guess i'd agree with) then we need to define what the forum will contain before we can come up with a suitible name. (since the original suggestion was in fact a computer science forum, which ricky approved)
I'm thinking the forum should involve computer science of any form, programming, program design, or development of any computer program of any kind. Also since this is a strictly math forum in every other place, it would be a suitable place for discussing solutions to non mathematical problems and puzzles. Like logic puzzles, rubiks cube, tower of hanoi, etc.
I'd still say Programming and Algorithm Development pretty much encompasses all those.

But so far I like the feel of "Coding", and I think most people would know what it means. Example: Google's "Summer of Code" http://code.google.com/soc/2007/

Computer science is to coding as mathematics is to accounting. Coding involves computer science, but you aren't studying computer science when you code.
I believe the forum should include anything computer science related, pure or application. How about:
Turning Street (note the pun).

yeah but thats completely unintuitive.
I can't believe we still can't agree on something..
maybe we should poll the members?

It took us a while to get "Euler Avenue", but that name really works, for one thing it self-selects its audience!

Heading in the right direction, I think.
I knew a guy who called Infinite Loops "Dynamic Halts" ... and coding is a bit like "Mathematics in Action" isn't it?
So what coding/algorithm/etc terms would look good in the name?

Silicon Highway?

How about just "Code Zone", and we can mention algorithms in the description.

Can you some day down the road figure out how to have
another website or another way to view all of the current postings
in one category for lazy people like me?
I like categories, I just don't like clicking buttons.

code zone sounds good to me! I vote yes.

"Code Zone" anyone else?

I personally like Silicon Highway, but Code Zone is good too. Either one really.

Or maybe "Graphene Highway": http://www.physorg.com/news104473084.html
Coder's Corner was also good I thought

Frankly I'd rather get the forum started than keep debating names, but i also like Silicon Highway better than Code Zone.
But if you prefer Code Zone, Mathsisfun, thats fine as well.

Hmm, I actually like my suggestion, Coder's Corner, better than either of the two. Coder's Corner gets my vote.

Aye, lets go with Coders corner.

On the topic of moving/deleting forums, it's most likely just me, but I feel the 'Jokes' forum doesn't fit in with the other forums. It's not like we have a 'Poems' forum and a 'Stories' forum. Why Jokes?
Offline
Because no one is interested in poems or stories. Just jokes. Stories can go into This Is Cool! or Jokes. Poems can either go into Jokes or This Is Cool! as well. But jokes don't really belong in This is Cool!.
