K'nex logic gates

i got bored today so i decided to bring out the ol knex and made some mechnical logic gates using only knex and a single elastic band

heres a quick schematic diagram, and a picture of each:

I see how the not works, like a thing that holds towels in the bathroom, and folds.
And I see how the or gate works, either pushs it.
But the and gate seems like it might half move a little when it shouldn't.
Can you explain that one?

unfortunately it does move out slightly when just pushing one of them, but only about 1cm compared to the 10cm you get when pushing both in.

Neat!

Yes, the and gate might move a little, but electronic circuits don't work perfectly either!
