Re: how much you train?

Not necessarily, Royce.
A good knowledge of the subject when you're young helps you. Training does help, but it is not indispensable. I know people who are good at Mathematics by just being good listeners at School/College. And this lasts a lifetime, generally. But the mathematical ability for everyone wanes with age.

We do gogo plata.  hardest move in world.  We practice long days, and practice hard.  if you start when old, you still do jiujitsu good.  Rickson Gracie is 100 years old, best jiujitsu in world.  I guess unlike math.

Re: how much you train?

I find that depending on the difficulty of the subject, my training varies. I can get a pretty good understanding of a subject by just listening, but to know it completely, I have to practice with it a bit.

There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary, those who don't, and those who can use induction.

Re: how much you train?

I never good at math at school in Brasil.  I learn Brasilian good and learn history of countries good.  I try to love math, but it not work.  Math is hard when in Brasil, not many good teachers and teaching is hard.   I try to learn math and approach like I approach jiujitsu.  Love it everyday.

Re: how much you train?

Nevermind Royce. You can still be good at mathematics. Not much of training required. Don't worry if you don't have good teachers. But next time when you post here, please post in HELP ME. This is not the right place.
