Brain Music!

Well I've read and heard that listening to Mozart will bump your intelligence up, does anyone actually know why this is? Also, you can only listen to mozart for so long, so are there are other composers (Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel, Linkin Park?), or other genres (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Popular?) that can help achieve the same effect? I'm gonna try and pile my winamp with all kinds of brain music

It was just an example I don't actually like Linkin Park that much but I dont know many bands
