physics practical

I had my AS physics practical exam today. It went pretty well, although I know one mark I have definitely dropped (I was asked to calculate q/p, and I found p/q - I even checked this and missed it!)

Did anyone else (i.e. Luca) have theirs today?

Yes i did, did you not find that the second experiment for the evaluation part was just stupidly bad I asked one of my teachers about it and he said in past people complained that it was too good and that students had trouble finding things to say were wrong and how to do it differently, and so they made it cra p this time round

I assume since you did it today, you did have same one as me. (Balancing weights on the rule, and the swining pendulum thingy for second cra p one)

Hmm I had the same first one as you, but my second was different (and also stupid). For the second I had to set up a very basic circuit (two light blubs and a mutlimeter), and I had to explain why one of the bulbs was on and one wasn't. Then I was asked to roll a marble down a ramp and time it etc, which had nothing to do with the circuit at all :s.

I also had S1 today. But I found out after the exam that I made a very stupid mistake on one of the questions. Why can I never get 100 in maths?!

EDIT: AHHHH I just noticed another mistake. Normal distribution percentage table ---> I looked up 0.001 instead of 0.01

hehe. i've only gotten one module with 100% (Mech1) because i always make silly mistakes
