Half time: No goals. The Italians had a goal ruled out for offside in first-half stoppage time of which there were 3 minutes. And the Romanians have so far played 135 minutes of football without scoring or conceding a goal.
Offline
55′: Adrian Mutu scored for Romania and I missed the goal. Italy 0-1 Romania.
Offline
56′: But Christian Panucci equalizes within the blink of an eye from a corner! I didnt miss this one. Italy 1-1 Romania.
Offline
Full time: Italy 1-1 Romania.
Mutu had a penalty saved by Gianluigi Buffon on 81′ which I thought was poetic justice because I didnt think it was a penalty. If Italy had lost, they would have been out of the competition.

59′: Robin van Persie! Netherlands 2-0 France.
Offline
71′: Thierry Henry pulls one back for Frnace. Netherlands 2-1 France.
Offline
72′: But Arjen Robben immediately restores Netherlands two-goal advantage. Netherlands 3-1 France.

Ooh! There is still time for one last goal as Wesley Sneijder scores his second spectacular goal of the tournament!
Full time: Netherlands 4-1 France.
The last two games are Frace v Italy and Netherlands v Romania. The permutations for quarterfinal qualification are like this.
(i) If Romania beat Netherlands, Romania will qualify, whatever happens between France and Italy.
(ii) If Netherlands and Romania draw and France and Italy also draw, then Romania will also go through.
(iii) If Romania dont beat Netherlands and there is a winner in the other match, then the winners of France v Italy will go through.
(iv) If Romania lose and France v Italy is a draw, however, there will be three teams each on 2 points and Im not sure whats going to happen next.

Were under way with Sweden v Spain at Innsbruck in Group D.
Offline
15′: Fernando Torres gives Spain the lead. Sweden 0-1 Spain.
Offline
34′: Sweden equalize through Zlatan Ibrahimović. Sweden 1-1 Spain.
Offline
Half time: 1-1. I think Spain should have got a penalty on the stroke of half time.
Offline
And David Villa scores his 4th goal of the competition in stoppage time to become the leading scorer.
Full time: Sweden 1-2 Spain.

Okay, lets see how Greece and Russia can do now at Salzburg.
Offline
33′: Russia take the lead through Konstantin Zyryanov. Greece 0-1 Russia.
Offline
Half time: Greece 0-1 Russia. If it stays this way, Spain will be through and Greece will be out.
Offline
Full time: And thats the way it is. The Russians will have to beat Sweden to qualify for the last eight. (A draw will mean that Sweden will go through on goal difference (assuming goal difference is the criterion being used).)
