So 24 x 13 x 60 x 13 x 30 = 7,300,800 possible codes? Sounds about right.. thanks.
Hi Maths Boffins! I have a permutation / combination problem and it's giving me headaches!
I have to work out how many unique codes I can get given the following restrictions..
An eight digit code must look like this:
07H15Y10
First two digits: Only possible from 00 to 23
Third digit: Only possible from A to M
Fourth and fifth digits: Only possible from 00 to 59
Sixth digit: Only possible from N to Z
Last two digits: Only possible from 01 to 30
Any help with this would be much appreciated... Thanks
