3) This question needs Pythagoras. Because the triangle is right-angled, the squares of the smaller sides will add up to the square of the larger one. Therefore, the missing side has a length of √(26² - 24²).

Ok, so is √(26² - 24²). acceptable as an answer, or does it need to be worked out?

If it does, what is the answer, if you don't mind?

Thanks

(Thanks a lot for all the help so far, aswell)

If anyone can help....honestly, it would mean so much. I am desperate for help on these questions. I'm sure some of the clever people on this forum can help us unfortunate ones out roflol

1. What is the percentage increase from 2500 to 3300?

2. What is the percentage reduction between 45 and 34?

3. What length is "A"?

4. The table shows the hectares of land mined and rehabilitated at the coal mine. For each of the years, calculate the percentage of land leveled and seeded at the mine.

5. Find the percentage of the total hectares of land leveled (reclaimed) between 1996 and 1999.

If anyone could help me out, it would mean so much, like I said.

Thanks so much for any help.
