Hello Everyone!!!
I just joined in last night....
I recently went back to college after 20+years, , so my math is really rusty!
I just want to know that you all will be there when I come across the tough one!!!
Thank you all!
Hi bobbym,
Thank you so much for the answer of the first problem. I have to figure out how you got the answer. I did the old fashion way of getting the answer by doing the smiley face system. The answer came out the same with your answer!
The 2nd problem, I am having trouble with...
Since the problem is not in open -20a and close parenthesis with an exponent of 8, why would you put the -20a inside the parenthesis with the exponent of 8? Should the 8 only have power over the a? and not the whole thing? I know the Degree is: 8
How do I arrange it in descending-exponent form since you only have one term?
For the given polynomial function, find the requested value?
1.
(c+8/3)with an exponent of 2 on the outside of the parenthesis
(c + 8 divided by 3)exponent 2
2.
a) Identify the Degree, b) arrange in descending-exponent form
-20a, a has an exponent of 8
(negative 20a with an exponent of 8)
