I need some help simplifying and multiplying this. I'm overlooking something but I can't tell what Could someone please help?

Correct. I'm practicing algebra that I haven't done for about 3 years now. I'm getting stuck with the 12x^2-9 part

2(4x+3) / x-3 is the correct answer yes?

Can you simplify that and please use parentheses like this:
(2(4x+3)) / ( x-3 ). That removes any ambiguity. Better more than less.
I know they are teaching you the way you are doing but they are teaching you wrong!
