Hi, I have answered a question that I believe is correct. But I would really like it if someone could check my working, I don't have 100% confidence in my answer.
Evaluate
where C is the curve of
from (3,3) to (0,0).So my working:
Let
, ,So the integral becomes:
I think this is correct but can someone check this for me?
Thanks
Hi Harold;
Welcome to the forum. What range did you define t as? According to your integral you defined it like this: 0 <= t <=3.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

Hi bobbym;
Yes, I did define t like you said because x=t and that is the range of x. Is my answer correct?
Hi Harold;
Everything you did on everything else is correct as far as I know. The only thing I am not sure of is the range of t. If you defined that integral from 3 to 0 the value of it would be negated to 3. I still think you did it right in defining it the way you did though. At least if it is wrong we will both be wrong.
