Hi
Just a quick question. If i were to flip a coin twice the chance of getting a head at least once would be 75%. I want to know how to calculate this on my calculator?
thx

Hi phatus1010;
Welcome to the forum.
The problem really is too simple for a calculator. You just say the probability of getting no heads ( TT ) is ( 1 / 2 ) * ( 1 / 2 ) = 1 / 4. Now just subtract that from one. 1 - ( 1 / 4 ) is ( 3 / 4 ).
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

Thanks for the response. Yes that's how i was calculating it myself. I was actually trying to work out the percentage chance of 0.9% occuring at least once over 9 attempts. I typed in 0.991 x 0.991 nine times then subtracted the answer from 1. This seemed really time consuming so i tried to use the percentage button which i couldn't get to work. Not sure if there's an easier way of working this calculation out?

Hi;
Do you have a power key?
