Solve IRR Equation
Can someone help me to solve this IRR equation? I am having problem inserting the formula. Wikipedia has mentioned that the IRR can calculated by solving the polynomial equation. In general the IRR equation cannot be solved analytically but only iteratively.

Welcome to the forum. Where is the equation?
This is generally what it looks like
but the numerators are problem specific. Generally there are "roll your own" iterative forms better than the secant method.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
