Graphing trig functions and their periods

I ran across this problem y=tanpi/2x. Now I know the amp is 1 and the period is 2 but how on earth do I draw the periods?

Of course every match is a whole different 'world'. You can't stay attached to the past or to what happened in the last match, because you never know how you will be, how your team will be, what plans or tactics the opposition will have. So it's always unpredictable.

Re: Graphing trig functions and their periods

Hi jessica_cs;

I assume you mean:

Amplitude doesn't apply here.

The period is 2 so starting at 0 the graph has to repeat every 2 ticks.

You only need to graph x=0,1,2,3,4,5. You should end up with a graph like below.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
