System of equations equivalent to the matrix equation
I am used to doing this problem in reverse so I am hoping that I did it correctly.
Find the system of equations that is equivalent to the matrix equation given below.
[-2 5] [x] = [3]
[ 1 4] [y] = [6]
The answer that I got was {-2x+5y=3
{ x+4y=6
Did I do this correctly?
