Just in case you did not know this, Facebook Inc (possibly last sunday) has released a new php based programming language that is supposed to be compiled into dynamic bytecode and run on HHVM.
Facebook's own thoughts: https://code.facebook.com/posts/2645448 … -for-hhvm/
The Language: hacklang.org
My Opinion: This is useless. PHP is absolutely fine for most of the current requirements. True, overcoming day to day debugging problems highlighted there is tricky but its not worth going for hack.

I thought those evils only use people.
Production means the servers used to interact with the users.
