Logarithm Problem

If log (base y) x = a and log (base z) x = b where x ≠ 1 , express the following in terms of a and b

a) log (base y) yz

b) log (base x) y/z

If y + z =1 show that 1/a = log (base x) 1-x^1/b

I found this hard, if question is unclear and can take a picture of it.

Re: Logarithm Problem

hi BonaviaFx

I find it helps to switch log base like this

That should help with the first part and a similar trick will help with the others.
