Are you familiar with latex? If you are then the easiest way is to use this site
http://latex.codecogs.com/eqneditor/editor.php
there you will learn from codecogs, the jedi master who instructed me.
Use the pulldown menus to create any symbol you want, then copy the latex in the box and put it in between the math tags.
Also, take a look at what others have done:
