Hello MathIsFun,
I am having trouble with 48) in my Stats review packet
The mean of a data set is 45, the z-score for a is 0. The z-score for b is 0.2. What are THE POSSIBLE VALUES FOR a AND b
F) a=0 b=45.8
G)a=0 b=44.2
H) a=45 b=45.8
J)a=45 b=44.2
I think it is either C or D because a must be 45(z-score is 0) but I cannot determine B as I think it could be any value.

Hi;
What are A and B? What page are you looking at?
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

"C" and "D" correspond to options "H)" and "J)"
