One more time: Homework help with expressions and exponents

For the third time, this time using the symbols! I have problems that I want to be sure I'm doing right, my dad is trying to help but he don't really know.
Could somebody help with a couple and I can see the right way to do the others.

1. Rewrite each expression in simpler form using exponents: (6x)(6x)(6x)(6x)
2 Expand each expression into factored form.  The rewrite it in the shortest exponent form.

or

  3. Rewrite expression

or

Thanks for any help

Re: One more time: Homework help with expressions and exponents

Hi;

1) (6x)(6x)(6x)(6x) = (6x)^4. Do you know why?

2)

What do you do next?

Re: One more time: Homework help with expressions and exponents

Welcome to the forum.

1. Rewrite each expression in simpler form using exponents: (6x)(6x)(6x)(6x)

Do, you know what exponents are. Exponents or power of a number is the no. of times the no. is multiplied (by itself). For more explained information Exponents Section in mif.

So, since here

is multiplied 4 times it is

In The 2nd question just expand it into the multiplication form( as bobbym had done) and then reduce it.

The 3rd question will also be the same...

Hope it helps.
