Find x
Given x^2/(3^2) = 3/x, find x.
I quickly think of cross-multiplication.
(x^2)(x) = (3^2)(3)
x^3 = 9 • 3
x^3 = 27
Take the cube root on.both sides of the equation.
cuberoot{x^3} = cuberoot{27}
x = 3
