What are the steps I need to take to make a fraction to a percent...

Read Convert Fraction to Percent
Using Calculator: 6/11 = 0.5454... = 54.5% (to one decimal place)
Manual Method: What can you multiply 11 by to get 100? 9×11=99 which is close, so, 6/11 = (6×9)/(11×9) = 54/99 ≈54% (note the ≈which means "approximately equal to")
