Lots of cats perhaps, like the end of Kiki's delivery service, heh.
Chaos is found in greatest abundance wherever order is being saught. It always defeats order, because it is better organized.

oh! i don't think so! the answer is 4 cats (for the first question)! each of 4 cats can see the others(consist of 3 cats) in the room! and each cat is sitting on it's tail! therefore, there're 4 cats in that room!
and the second question! i just give you the correct answer without the explaination! ^.^ : 7 nights and 8 days

Can we arrive at the same conclusion, even if you don't say how high the well is?

we can't arrive at the same conclusion if we don't know how high the well is. because, when u know exactly the height of the well you can know the current time that the frog get out the well! try to think about the fact, Dross. We can't always solve the problem in a general way.

That's what I'm saying - you didn't state how high the well is in your original post!

Nope, 8 days and 7 nights.
For the first 7 days, the frog climbs up 3m and slides down 2m, gaining 1m each day. Therefore, after 7 days he has climbed 7m.
But then on the 8th day he climbs 3m and so manages to get out before he slides down again.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

noo the answer to no. 2 is 1 night less than the number of days!
I shall be on leave until I say so...
