just for fun!

1.there're 4 cats at 4 corner in a room. there're 3 cats in front of each cat, there's another cat on each cat's tail. how many cats there are in that room?
2.there's a frog at a well's bottom. the frog climbs about 3m in the day and slide down about 2m at night. how many day and night it need to get out the well?. have a nice day!

oh! i don't think so! the answer is  4 cats (for the first question)! each of 4 cats can see the others(consist of 3 cats) in the room! and each cat is sitting on it's tail! therefore, there're 4 cats in that room!
and the second question! i just give you the correct answer without the explaination! ^.^ : 7 nights and 8 days

we can't arrive at the same conclusion if we don't know how high the well is. because, when u know exactly the height of the well you can know the current time that the frog get out the well! try to think about the fact, Dross. We can't always solve the problem in a general way.

Nope, 8 days and 7 nights.
For the first 7 days, the frog climbs up 3m and slides down 2m, gaining 1m each day. Therefore, after 7 days he has climbed 7m.

But then on the 8th day he climbs 3m and so manages to get out before he slides down again.
