rewrite the equation 4x - 10y = 11 as a function of x
a. y= -2/5x + 11
b. y=2/5x-11
c. y = 2/5x -11/10
d. y = -2/5x + 11/10
this is my thinking 10y = 4/10x + 11/10
y =2/5x + 11/10
correct??

4x - 10y = 11
-10y = 11 - 4x (subtract 4x from each side)
y = -11/10 + 4x/10 (divide each side by -10)
y = (2/5)x -11/10 (rearrange and simplify)
So the answer is C
