I am writing my master thesis right now using the "PhD Thesis LaTeX" style. Now I have a problem with the header and the it's definitely beyond my knowledge...maybe someone could help me with that!?
I want the first few chapters of my thesis (List of Figures, Acknowledgments, etc) to come up in the table of contents but I don't want them to be numbered. As soon as I add the * in the \chapter*{ABSTRACT}-command I get a weird header on the following page. It always puts in the titel of the chapter before....so nothing I would really want to have there. I have an example of that - if you tell me how to upload files I could post this as well - or I just email it to whoever is interested!
