Calculus Problems Urgent. Please help

If you can answer any of these problems please help....

1. Give the domain of the function.

f(x) = square root of 2-x

2. Compute and simplify the difference quotient [f(x + h) - f(x)]/h.

f(x) = 1x2 + 6x - 14

3. Find f'(x) when x has the given value.

f(x) = -3/x; x = -5

4. Find f'(x) when x has the given value.

f(x) = square root of x; x = 25

5.  Find the equation of the tangent line to the curve when x has the given value.

f(x) = x2 - 4 ; x = 3

Re: Calculus Problems Urgent. Please help

Hi;

1) the domain of √ (x-2)

x-2 must satisfy x - 2 > = 0

So x = [2 , ∞)

2) If you mean  x^2 + 6x - 14

answer = 2x + 6 + h

3) 3 / 25

4) 1 / 10

5) y = 6x - 13

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
