Hi,
got another problem similar to the first one
wallpaper comes in rolls that are 50cm wide. what length of wallpaper would be needed to cover two walls 4m by 3m high and one wall 2.5m by 3m high.
The answer says its 63m but i dont know how to work it out

63 m is correct. You have a wall 4m wide and 3m tall. Each strip of rolled up wallpaper going from top to bottom is 1/2 m wide and 3 m long. You need 8 of those strips to cover the width for 24 m of rolled up wallpaper. You have 2 walls like that. So far you need 48 m of rolled up wallpaper.
The last wall is 3m high and 2.5 m wide. You need 5 strips of rolled up wallpaper each 3 m long to go from top to bottom and side to side. That is 15 m of rolled up wallpaper.
24 m + 24 m + 15 m = 63 m
