m-12=n

Hi, I need to solve this equation for "m":   "m-12=n".  I cannot remember the steps. I need help figuring it out. Thanks

Hi equaltwo;

m-12 = n
add 12 to both sides

m = n + 12

Hi;

12n means 12 times n the answer is 12 + n. Supposing n equals 4 now you can see that 12 times 4 is not the same as 12 plus 4.
