I am horrible at math.we are basicly enemies,so yeah.
problem:
A window is 21 inches wide,and its perimeter is 112 inches.
What is the length of the window?
How do I go about solving this?

Math is hard, everyone is bad at it. With some practice you get better, just like anything else.
Start with the perimeter formula:
P = 2 L + 2 W where W is the width and L is the length and P is the perimeter. Now just plug in.
112 = 2 * 21 + 2 L Now we solve for L
112 = 42 + 2L Subtract 42 from both sides.
70 = 2L Divide by 2
L = 35
The length of the window is 35 inches.
