The measure of the angle supplement is 30 degrees more than 4times that of its complement. Find the measure of the angle described.

Hi Spanky;
Definitions:
For any angle A between 0° and 180°, the supplement of A is 180° A.
Two acute angles that add up to 90°. 60° and 30° are complementary.
Using them you solve it like this:
A is the angle you seek.
180 - A = 4 (90 - A) + 30
180 - A = 360 - 4A + 30
180 = 360 - 3A + 30
150 = 360 - 3A
-210 = -3A
A = 70°
