hi what formula/how would i work this out?
there is 3 possible results home away and draw.
there is ten games
if you want to cover every possible combo of teh results how many combos would there be?
and what formula would you select to work it out?

two teams play and it can be either a win, draw or loss.
if there is 10 games in total and you wanted to cover every outcome then how many out comes would you need to cover?
does that make more sense?

If your states that 2 teams play 10 games with 3 possible outcomes then soroban is correct.
3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 = 3^10 = 59 049 outcomes
