Hi, I am struggling with this problem, so if anyone can tell me how to get the correct answer, I would really appreciate it
P(A) = 0.15, P(B) = 0.05, P(A or B) = 0.17
Find the probability that contains the event A but not event B.
I thought I could use P(A or B) - P(B) = 0.17-0.05= 0.12.
Is that right???

Yep, that's exactly right.
Venn diagrams help a lot with this kind of thing.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
