I know this is silly , but i want a very easy way to solve this..
I take a lot of time in these calculations

Hi;
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

You can do a Quick Approximation but its hard to do it Quickly unless you are real good at Multiplication/Division of Large numbers!!
If two or more thoughts intersect, there has to be a point!

I got to get the answer as 5.227 * 10^3

Hi soha,
That answer is wrong:
5.227 * 10^3 = 5227 the correct answer is 522.7. Have you copied the problem right?

Have a look at Post #5 above.
Try to Approximate the Numerator and Denominator to the nearest possible multiples of 5 or 10 and then you can simplify quickly!
I'll give you a few examples.....................

Alright!!
What about the first one?

Hi soha;
Then there is problem, 5.227 * 10^3 is 5227 the answer to your first problem is 522.7. I have checked it 3 times by computer.

I need the exact answer...

yes , the answer is
The power of 10 should be 2 instead of 3. Plz check the Question again... Did you copy it EXACTLY??

Yes , I have copied it correctly. Might be printing mistake then.

Yes, it cannot be 3. It is off by a factor of 10. There is no possibility of error. Maybe a typo in the book.

Try This Approach..............
Give more expressions where you are facing a problem currently or otherwise....
