(X = 3 and Y = 4) and ( X = 4 and Y = 3 ) are two immediate answers. Those you should know.
You do not need to compute them.
These are harder: There are 6 more roots. 2 real and 4 complex.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
