hi guys, im stuck on a question
find dy/dx for equation
y=(8x)^(x-2)
i think im missing a rule to differentiate y=f(x)^g(x)
please help

Hi nevinsmith,
Take log on both sides, then differentiating becomes easy.
*edit - sorry, did a mistake, it's log(8) + log(x).
apply the product rule and simplify if required.
