jU, leave my brain cells alone! Stop it! Stop with the murdering! It's a game, not real life! Argh!

OK. I'll control it this time. Instead of signing up, it's probably easier to just keep the list as it was, but with new people signing up or people on the list saying if they want to be taken off. I'll also take people off if they don't post anywhere from now until when it starts, because they'll be on holiday or have broken internet or not care about us anymore or something. Anyway...

Re: Wink Murder 5

I have absolutely no idea. Zach is the only one who moderates this forum, so I thought it must be him, but when I quoted myself, the 'Last edited by mathsyperson' wasn't there, which means that it must be part of a code. That could happen either if I edited it myself, which I didn't, or maybe Rod has some special power, but I can't see him messing with our minds like that. That's a Zach-ish thing to do, but I've already ruled him out. I saw this topic yesterday evening, after you'd made your post, and the [Blubble] wasn't there, so all in all, this is most strange. Hallowe'en is starting early, it seems...

The way I do it with my friends is that everyone writes down their email address and posts it (or if the forum enables PMs, you PM instead to everybody playing). The person in charge emails (or PMs) one person and tells them they are the murderer. The murderer then s-l-o-w-l-y kills people, most of the time it is once a day, by emailing them to tell them they're dead. They then state they're dead by writing a piece of prose, or roleplay, or whatever, and posting it.
The remaining people have to quickly guess who the murderer is, with one guess per game, the person in charge cannot guess since they already know who the murderer is, and the murderer can guess so he/she will not give away the fact that he/she is the murderer.

I'm the person in charge this time around and I'll start the game on Tuesday. So, read the rules and make sure you understand them and stuff. (That applies to you too, jU. Hehe, rhymes.)
If you don't want to play because it involves emailing then just say so and I'll take you back off.

I am the only person that uses [ Change ] in editing posts.

I also always use silent edit. big_smile

Re: Wink Murder 5

Ooh, ooh I get it now! I posted the post, then I must have noticed a mistake in it and edited it straight away, hence the 'last edited by mathsyperson' and then Zach edited it after me but used silent edit. I got confused because it said that I had edited it and I had forgotten that I had. Me = fool. So, Zach, what does [blubble] mean?

And it still does. At the moment. It changes so fast I have barely read it and a new one pops up. But I like them. They're funny.
