Hi Everyone
In helping my Grandson with his Maths the following question
seems to have 2 answers.
Could anyone help with the correct solution ?
Question :- What is 372.42 correct to 1 significant figure ?
Is this the same as giving the figure to 1 decimal point ? ie :- 372.4
or is 1 significant figure :- 372 as a whole number ?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi anonimnystefy,
Is there a mistake in the link you posted?
Perhaps, you meant this: http://www.mathsisfun.com/rounding-numbers.html
