  How do you find the hypotenuse of a triagle without using pythagoreans theorem...

Oh to be proved right so soon! 

Anyway:  WELCOME BACK!  :):)

You can do this using trigonometry ( that's sines, cosines and tangents)

In a particular problem you need to look at what you're given in order to choose the right formula (there's quite a few; depending on whether it's a right angled triangle or not, and then which sides and angles you are told).  As you use the word hypotenuse, I think it must have a right angle, but there's still two formulas to choose between.

It's a huge post though, so why not send in a problem with measurements and angles.

eg. triangle ABC, ABC = 90, AB = 6 etc etc.
