x(-121+22x+-1x^2)=0

x((-11+x)(11+-1x))=0

x=0

-11+x=0
-11+11+x=0+11

-11+11=0
0+x=0+11
x=0+11
0+11=11

x=11



11+-1x=0
11+-11+-1x=0+11

11+-11=0

0+-1x=0+-11
-1x=0+-11
0+-11=-11

-1x=-11

x=11

#5-     x^2-4x=5


          1x^2-5=0
       
         -5+-4x+x^2=0

          (-1+-1x) (5+-1x)=0

         -1+-1x=0

          -1+1+-1x=0+1
           
           -1+1=0
           
            0+-1x=0+1
         
            -1x=1
             
    divide both sides by -1

x=-1

5+-1x=0

-5+5+-1x=0+-5

0+-1x=0+-5

-1x=0+-5

-1x=-5

divide both sides by -1

x=5

x=(-1,5)

subtract 1 from both sides

x=0-1

x=-1

x-5=0

subtract -5 from both sides

x=0-5

x=-5

x-5=0

subtract -5 from both sides

x=0-5

x=-5

If you subtract 5 from both sides you will not make the -5 on the left go away. Only a plus 5 for both sides can do that.

You can add to an equation, subtract, multiply or divide as long as you do it to both sides. You get to choose.
