Re: "triangle solving practice"

hi diamond777

Just tried some myself.

(i)  Click for type of problem you want to attempt.  eg.  'random'

(ii) Look at the problem and decide whether you need to find another angle using 180; or use the sine rule; or use the cosine rule.  Click your choice.

(iii) The formula you have chosen appears and you click the variable you want to find.

(iv) The calculation is done for you.

(v) Click again for other rules.

If you have worked out an answer yourself, you'll have to go through the clicking procedure to see what 'the computer' makes it.  Then you can check your answer.

Hope that helps,

Bob

Re: "triangle solving practice"

Hi MathsIsFun,

Of course you may.  I'd be honoured to make this small contribution.  Same goes for anything I post here.

'
btw.  Have you made a change to the font size for MIF forum pages.  Suddenly, everything's bigger.  It's OK, and probably easier for some posters to read, but, it's just that, if it isn't something at your end, then I must have accidentally re-configured something and I ought to work out what.

Hi Bob,

Have you made a change to the font size for MIF forum pages.  Suddenly, everything's bigger.

You might have pressed ctrl key and scrolled up, so it got zoomed in?

Wow!  You're right.  Now I'm back to normal.  Well, what passes for normal where I'm concerned.  smile

Re: "triangle solving practice"

Hi,

Maybe restarting the browser will get to defaults.
