Applications of Logarithms problem

Hi all.  Does this look ok?  I didn't pay much attention to this work during the year and writing maths tomorrow...  Is there a way to simplify this further?  and would it be ok to leave it as a logarithm and just write grams afterwards?

hi Deon588,

That's ok so far, but you can simplify it further.  Don't forget that 'e to the' and 'ln' are inverse functions so you can 'cancel' them out.

Leaving you with

which I would evaluate to a decimal.

Hi Bob.  I'm not allowed to use a calculator in my exam so I probably don't have to do this?
