Do you have a right triangle there with sides of 4 and 10 and the hypotenuse is x?
Please stay on the forum so that I can ask you questions because your diagram is still unreadable.
Or is it 2 similar triangles? One with sides 10,10 and 4 and the other one with sides 2 and x?

If the triangles are similar then the angles are the same and the sides are in proportion. So if the base equals 4 on the large one and 2 on the small one then the small one's base is half as large. So the remaining sides are half as large as well.
x = 10 / 2
x = 5
