Hi mandy jane;

I can not play them either and I have Firefox.

Can you download the files? There is a download button.

Re: Help Me With Gcse Maths

Hi all,

The videos and sound work fine for me on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox.

On a couple of vids the tutor introduces the topic verbally with no accompanying video during the intro, and the video only kicks in when the lesson starts.

That happened to me with the first video I clicked on. All I got was a blank screen and sound, and so I thought I had a video problem too. However, it wasn't long before the intro finished and the video started up.

Go to the google site www.google.co.uk

Along the top click for more, then even more.

Re: Help Me With Gcse Maths

hi Mandy,

Sorry I missed you earlier.  I was out in the garden this afternoon, making a new compost bin.

I'm worried about your progress;  it was 2nd April when I posted these questions.  shame

At this rate it will take until the end of May just to go over fractions.

I don't mind helping you at all but when are your exams?

Have you started your course yet?

Anyway,  back to your answers.  A few bits are correct but there are also lots of mistakes.

Did you draw these fractions on squared paper with every rectangle the same size ( 6cm by 4cm ) ?

I suggest you have a look at my pictures below.

Check you understand each fraction eg for 2/6 I divided the rectangle into 6 equal parts and then shaded 2.

Now please try again to find the ones that are equal, and post your new answers as soon as you can.

Good luck!  smile

Bob
