Qaud Q.

This is the Q. Im have problem with. The fractions and the integer thing throw me off. "Write a quadratic eq.  with roots of 2/3 and - 4/5 in the form

where a, b, c are integers. "


Example of what I do understand about a similar type of math problem:
general form with roots 6 and -7

Now this one may or may not have the smallest coefficients but it used the method you suggested to get them.

There is no excplicite answer in there. I just told him the method, and you can explain to him. If you don't need it then feel free to delete it altogrlether.

Not necessary. He is just one little fact away from solving the problem himself. When he figures it out which he will he can then see your solution as further evidence that it is not just my idea.
