Factorise this expression
P.S.:- Is the problem ill-posed? If so, what should be it actually?
P.P.S:- I just edited it

Hi Agnishom;
perhaps?
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

No, that would be very easy:
What else could it be?

No that would be
BTW I didnt understood your main question...

I think he wants to factorise the expression in first post.

Ya debjit,
That was a very stupid mistake I just commited

Hi Agnishom;
I am not finding anything that sort of looks like your original expression. Are you sure their isn't more?

I am afraid that will not be much help.

The factors along y area little prettier:

I think he is looking for some form of his first post that factors a lot nicer than that. Unfortunately I have tried thousands with no results.

He's not gonna find them because there aren't any.

Poster #2 found this one:

But that is not what the OP wanted.

I think it is. He did not say poster #2's answer was unwanted. He said he wanted one that was not as simple.

It happens to me also,I think all of us
think he wants to factorise the expression in first post.
Ya, I understood that one ,but he said the question is ill posted and it could be any trinomial ,so what we are going to factorise?

It means looking for a suitable trinomial that yields a nice factorization. A computer search has not turned up anything.

Wait. The problem has now turned into finding a trinomial with a nice factorization?

Actually, one of my friends asked me to solve 3 problems which his teacher gave him and he could not solve(There are a lot of people like this who ask me to solve Problems). So, I decided to help him and I took the paper from him but since his handwriting was very bad, I could not read the factorisation problem accurately(or may be he has copied it wrong).
There was no problem with the other two problems which I could solve myself

If you could tell us which grade your friend is in ,then we might guess a suitable trinomial as per the academic standards. Could you post the picture of the questions we might understand his handwriting.
Good Luck

hi Agnishom,
In which case (and assuming his teacher expected him to be capable of doing it), I suggest:
It's the closest I can get using some of the algebra he (maybe) gave you.

I still think poster #2 hit the head on the nail. Just change every 3 to a 2.

Yes, that could be it. I've noticed before that you often agree with that guy.
I'm worried about your head though.
